ABOUT US

First American Baptist Ministries is a ministry support organization reaching First Americans. The intent of First American Baptist Ministries is to assist indigenous missionaries and local indigenous churches with land procurement, development of culturally relevant teaching and study material, coordinate and assist in function of short and long term mission efforts, develop local Christ-centered education programs for families in need of faith-based educational opportunity.

Scores of elementary, middle school and high school children have been presented education with a God-centered curriculum over the years. Tens of thousands of New Testaments have been distributed across the vast Navajo Nation. Untold volumes of doctrinally sound teaching booklets filtered through many hands and hearts. Locally produced Bible courses numbering in the hundreds have been mailed out by request to spiritually hungry individuals. No fewer than five ground-breaking preaching points throughout the Navajo Nation were established. One solid local New Testament church has been established. One Navajo man has surrendered to preach. Two of the three ABA endorsed works currently on the Navajo Nation have direct ties of inception to First American Baptist Ministries.

Through the years numerous sister Churches have come alongside to be a part of the First American Baptist endeavor to reach Native America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through direct personal involvement. Many churches have stood prayerfully and financially with the Divine mandate to First Americans. Through ‘visitorship discipling’ literally thousands of school-aged children have been ministered to through vacation Bible school events; a significant number having made professions of faith. Local Church generated marriage and family training seminars have been supported by faithful partners of the Navajo labors.
